MEETING 28/1/98

is this a level playing field

what do I sell

the playing field

if artists become incorporated then it becomes more important

artists should be working in relation to the new space

internet phone

where you are isn't where it starts

changing relation with space where you are

people who get air sick from moving through space

technology seems to come it into our lives

freedom

independence from the phone

its like having a tool box

in real terms it is based on money

let get artists in to make work to make money

lets use artist

he is not motivated to make money out of it

the technology is manipulated in a more humanistic way

I can see ways that it will be a smother transition

against the fact that it should become the tool of the artist

through the tv set as a link

making money

much easier way to look than look at the screen

art is not a democracy

this doesn't seem to impact

we are all connected

we are amateurs

art is bedevilled by this notion

the model is not necessary anymore

make it yourself

you dont get on to the building site and pick up a hammer

make something from nothing

renegotiate there own space

there are no precedents

buying a book without paying tax

governments have no say

we all become voiceless

in very real ways it will change you lives

content is the most important thing

they have got no content

they have things they want to say

did not seem to have gone through a critical screen

linked to film and television

nothing that was done exploited that media

you are back to content

computer is being used to assimilate something else

it does not give you same information

it is much better being here

t was the art work itself

we can computer work in its context as real art

real art as in a materiality

selling to down load from the net

its changing the idea of ownership

you cant get a better coca cola
